So I figured I'd give a little more of an update on what's going on since yesterday's blog post was short. There was one concern with Audrey, but my doctor said it shouldn't be a problem and it will probably fix itself. She has a cyst on her brain called a Choroid Plexus cyst. I was referred to a perinatologist which is a fetal specialist. We have an appointment on Wednesday which will include an ultrasound to look more in depth at her development and the cyst. Most of these types of cysts absolve by 32 weeks of pregnancy, but OB's like to be careful and send you to a specialist. I was worried, until I read more about it and how common it is. I'm praying that everything is JUST fine with my baby girl. I will keep you posted on her development and what this doctor finds. It means more ultrasounds with both this doctor and my OB.
Another update for the Balough family: Paul is getting his tonsils out on February 15th and it is going to be a 10-14 day recovery. Lots of time in bed and me taking care of him. This will take care of alot of Paul's snoring and breathing issues so it will be good in the long run. And we scheduled it before our move so he should be good to go!

ReplyDeleteI had my tonsils taken out when I was 13 and the first day is rough, but the next few days aren't so bad. I was a BIG talker and I started talking the next day, probably shouldn't have, but I thought I was being cool. I'll be praying for him as well, and I just noticed it's the day afer Valentines day! Awesome! ;-)
